Our infant rooms welcomes children as young as 36 weeks of age. Our prepared environments have developmentally appropriate materials and activities that support the child through each stage of infant growth.
Because we “follow the child,” we provide a variety of environments where infants can explore based upon their curiosity and mobility, not just their age. The age range for our infant program is from 36 weeks to 24 months. After the age of 18 months a child may begin his or her transition to the toddler program. Move-up ages may vary by several months. Parents are kept up to date with a daily sheet that reports nap times, feeding times/amounts, diaper changes and activities that followed each day.
1 YEAR OLD PROGRAM
Excitement and energy are the best words to describe our young toddler program. A vast variety of gross motor activities are promoted at this stage. Crawling under the tunnel, walking feet around the classroom, dancing and singing in our circle time, riding, running, climbing, catching, and throwing on the playground, among other activities are the most important part of our “1 year old” schedule. Every program needs a daily routine. Routines are very important for every child to know what to expect which includes: Art and Craft, Finger Paint, Music, gross and fine motor skills activities, lunch, rest, learning area, transition and clean up, diapering, snack, language skills, social and emotional development, and spiritual growth.
2 YEAR OLD PROGRAM
The 2 year old curriculum is designed to enhance their skills and levels of understanding. We believe children develop at different rates. So we do not expect everyone in the group to be at the same developmental level, either at the beginning or end of the year. Instead, we recognize that each child has individual abilities and that our job is to motivate her or him to progress at a stimulating pace without pressure or loss of self-esteem. Children learn to use imagination through roles playing in an ever changing dramatic play area by creating with blocks, puppets and other small manipulative.
We plan specifically for the following areas of a child’s development: Emotional and Social Skills, Physical Development, Fine and Gross Motor Skills, Creative Expressions, Art, Music, Drama.
3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM
Our PreK-3 teachers will provide your child with a high quality early childhood education with developmentally appropriate activities, educationally enriched environments and responsive teacher-child interactions. We plan specifically for the following areas of a child’s development: Bible, Music, Art, Reading, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Writing, Computer Lab, P.E.

Language, Communication, and Emergent Literacy. As a young student learns to apply their curiosity, they develop a base of interests and basic tools that they need.
